Columbus Dog Connection - Website
CLIENT
PROJECT SUMMARY
After completing the successful rebrand for Columbus Dog Connection, the next major step was a full website redesign—a massive overhaul for a site that hadn’t been updated since the early 2000s. The original site was cluttered, difficult to navigate, and visually outdated, making it challenging for the organization to convey professionalism and credibility.
Redesigning the website required rethinking everything from structure to storytelling. I began by auditing the existing content and collaborating with the organization to refine and reorganize their messaging, ensuring it was clear, concise, and aligned with their mission. From a user-experience standpoint, I restructured the site map and user flow to make it easier for visitors to find information, donate, or get involved.
Visually, I carried over key elements from the rebrand—using brighter colors, bold color blocking to distinguish sections, and large, engaging calls-to-action that guide users through the site. The result was a modern, welcoming, and highly functional website that not only reflects Columbus Dog Connection’s compassionate spirit but also strengthens their online presence and community impact.
